Sign in to File Storage Security, then select the Scan Activity page if necessary.
The Scan History panel displays a bar chart of the files that have been scanned for the past 24 hours.
There may be a small delay between when a file is uploaded and when its scan result appears in the Scan History panel.
To change the duration of the Scan History chart, select the drop-down list in the upper right section of the panel. Also, if viewing a duration of days, click on a bar to view the hours for that day.
To scroll to earlier or later within the chart, select the < and > arrows to the left and right of the duration indicator.
To view the details for a column in the chart, hover the cursor over the bar.
Clicking on a bar, or dragging an area to select one or more specific bars, automatically reloads the Malicious File Count, the Scan Error Count, and the Total Scanned File Count for that time period. The summary will show the total number of selected bars. If nothing is selected, the summary will display the total of the visible bars.
To change the focus of the chart to exclude specific scan results, use the Malicious, Scan error, or No issues found toggles.
Malicious Events table
The table displays the number of malicious events based on the current time range of the bar chart. If the malicious file count is 0, "No data to display" is displayed in the Malicious Events table. You can drill down to view scanned malicious events.
The Malicious Events table displays:
-
Malware type. The type(s) of malware found in the storage. The first malware type encountered is displayed. If other types are found, ", and x more" is added. Duplicated types show as 1. If you place the cursor over the type, a pop-up window opens. It displays all types of malware in a comma delimited list.
-
Malware name. The name(s) of the malware found in the storage. The first malware name encountered is displayed. If other names are found, "and x more" is added. Malware events that have the same name are shown as separate events. If you place the cursor over the type, a pop-up window opens. It displays the first malware name and the rest in ", and x more".
The Malware name is a hyperlink to the Trend Micro Threat Encyclopedia. When you click the name, you are taken to the appropriate malware profile. If the malware profile has not yet been published onto the Threat Encyclopedia, you are taken to the malware search page.
Scan Error Events table
The table displays the number of scan error events based on the current time range of the bar chart. You can drill down to view scan error events. If there are no scan error files within the time range, "No data to display" is displayed in the Scan Error Events table.
The Scan Error Events table displays:
- Scan error. The scan error(s) raised while the scanner scans the files in the storage.
