Delete Azure stacks
To delete a scanner stack, you must first delete all storage stacks associated with the scanner stack.
- Sign in to File Storage Security. The console appears.
- Select the Stack Management page.
- In the table, select a stack.
- Select the Delete button at the top. The Delete Stack dialog box appears.
- Select the arrow to expand the Delete with Azure CLI (Recommended) instructions.
- Select the Copy button to copy the script to the clipboard.

Open a Azure CLI window.
If you haven't already installed the Azure CLI, read about that here.

Paste the script you copied from the console into the Azure CLI window, then press the Enter key to delete the Stack from Azure.
- Return to the File Storage Security console.
- In the Delete Stack dialog box, click the Delete button to delete the stack from File Storage Security.
Alternate method of deleting a stack

From the File Storage Security console, select the Stack Management page

In the table, select a stack.

Select the Delete button at the top. The Delete Stack dialog box appears.

Select the arrow to expand the Delete with Azure Portal instructions.

Click the Copy button to the right of the Resource Group Name.

From the Azure portal, in the search bar at the top of the window, paste the resource group name from the clipboard with Ctrl-V, then press Return.

Once you locate the resource group, delete it.

From File Storage Security, click the Copy button to the right of the Storage Account Name.

From the Azure portal, in the search bar at the top of the window, paste the storage account name from the clipboard with Ctrl-V, then press Return.

Once you locate the storage account, delete it.

From the storage account page, go to the Access control (IAM) tab.

Delete the role assignments listed in the File Storage Security Delete Stack dialog box.

Delete the roles for the above role assignments.

Go to the Events tab.

Delete the event subscription listed in the File Storage Security Delete Stack dialog box.

Return to the File Storage Security console.

In the Delete Stack dialog box, click the Delete button to delete the stack from File Storage Security.
The all-in-one stack can only be deleted from Azure since it doesn't exist in the console.
